Total French Batches from 2014-2026

Most Indian PR applicants hit a wall around 450 to 470 CRS points. Your IELTS English score is solid, your work experience is verified, and your education credentials is sufficient. You’re still 30 to 50 points short of the cutoff. So what’s the fastest fix? Add French.
For most candidates, I teach French; that’s the difference between waiting another year and landing an ITA (Invitation to Apply) next round. But getting CLB 7 doesn’t have to be a guessing game. It just requires the right course for TEF Canada.
LanguageNext is a French institute in Noida with over 15 years of experience. We’ve trained more than 2,400 students. We help you learn and practice in line with the official exam format, avoid common mistakes, and speak French confidently. We build our classes around your busy schedule. You can join our in-person center in Noida or log in from anywhere. By the end of our TEF course, you will know exactly how to tackle every section of the test.
What is TEF Canada and Why It Matters for Canadian PR
TEF Canada (Test d’évaluation de français pour le Canada) is a French proficiency exam recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Quebec immigration, and citizenship accept the score.
The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry administers it through Le français des affaires. Each section is reported on its own, mapped to a CEFR level (A1-C2), and then translated into a CLB benchmark. TEF Canada is the only IRCC-accepted French exam that scores you on two different scales.
A CLB 7 score in TEF Canada preparation targets, paired with at least CLB 5 in English, unlocks 50 extra CRS points under the Express Entry bonus. If you have already completed B2-level DELF-based classes, you can achieve CLB 7 in 4 to 6 weeks of specialized, test-focused study.
Four sections are mandatory:
| Section | Format | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Listening (Compréhension orale) | 60 MCQs | 40 minutes |
| Reading (Compréhension écrite) | 50 MCQs | 60 minutes |
| Writing (Expression écrite) | 2 tasks | 60 minutes |
| Speaking (Expression orale) | 2 tasks | 15 minutes |
For CLB 7, out of 699, you need: 434-461 for TEF Canada reading; 428-471 for TEF Canada writing; 434-461 for TEF Canada listening; and 456-493 for TEF Canada speaking.
Speaking has the highest threshold (456/699). Many candidates struggle to reach CLB 7 despite strong scores in writing, reading, and listening. Success relies on structured arguments, accurate verb use under pressure, and natural delivery, all of which improve through focused practice and feedback rather than passive study. Our SWIRL method provides this approach, similar to what works for the DELF B2 Speaking module.
Our Program to Pass the TEF Canada Exam
LanguageNext combines 15+ years of French teaching experience with a practical, TEF-focused approach to help students and professionals achieve CLB 7 faster.
Studying for a language exam is very different from taking conversational classes or a generic French class. You need a structured curriculum that targets the specific tasks of the test. Our TEF Canada program focuses on the exact skills you need to pass.
Many of our students enroll in only mock and prep classes after our DELF-B2 course. We also have a specialized course for TCF Canada preparation.
When I worked with a student preparing for TEF while managing a full-time job, we focused only on high-impact areas. Within a few months, she progressed from basic communication to CLB 7. That’s the power of a focused study plan.
Here’s what makes us different:
- Offline support in Noida & online on Zoom & WhatsApp
- Small batch sizes for 4 to 6 students for personal attention
- Live instruction across all four exam sections
- SWIRL method (speaking, writing, interaction, reading, and writing).
- Real exam strategies, not just theory
- Regular performance tracking
- Vocabulary banks and grammar themed by TEF topic
- Flexible timings for working professionals
- All customized study materials to help you study
- Audio lessons to enhance the speaking and listening sections
- Full-length timed mocks built from past papers like the actual exam
- Examiner-style personalized feedback on improvement
- Extra doubt-clearing sessions for difficulty or missed classes

Why choose LanguageNext for TEF Canada Coaching
Most French learning centers treat French as one of many subjects. We don’t. That focus shapes every class.
One French trainer for the full journey
The teacher who starts you at A1 stays with you through the end of the B2 level. No mid-course reshuffling, no quality issue, no new teaching styles to adjust to.
Affordable Fee for TEF Canada Course
We offer a complete TEF Canada course at a reasonable price, with no hidden charges. All you need is included, from study material and audio lessons to mock tests and extra classes.
Small face-to-face batches of 4 to 6
Every student speaks in every class and receives personalized attention due to small class sizes. That’s where most learners lose marks on TEF Canada, so we build in daily speaking time.
Choose Offline, Online & Hybrid
Choose offline in Noida for direct classroom interaction. Go live French online sessions if you need flexibility and want to learn from anywhere. Pick a hybrid model if you want the best of both.
French TEF Canada Test Preparation Details
TEF Canada is different from regular French exams because it focuses strictly on real-life communication and practical language use. Here’s what we add to bridge that gap.
15+ Years of TEF Canada Training Experience
With 15+ years of French teaching experience, we know exactly how to help you reach CLB 7 in TEF Canada. Our training focuses on exam patterns, scoring criteria, and high-impact strategies. Instead of random learning, you follow a clear path designed to improve your score faster and avoid common mistakes.
CLB 7–Focused Strategy (Not Generic French Learning)
Most institutes follow a general French syllabus. That doesn’t guarantee TEF success. At LanguageNext, we train you specifically for CLB 7. Every session focuses on scoring techniques, question patterns, and exam strategy. You learn exactly what the examiner expects, so your preparation stays focused and result-driven.
Real TEF Canada Mock Tests & Performance Analysis
You’ll practice with exam-level mock tests, sample papers, and previous questions that match the actual TEF Canada format. Each test comes with a detailed evaluation so you can improve accuracy, speed, and confidence in a timed manner.
This structured testing approach plays a key role in achieving CLB 7 and getting the required CSR score for Canada immigration.
Structured Study Material & Listening Practice
We provide complete TEF-focused study material, including notes, exercises, grammar drills, reading comprehension, and writing practice, as well as over 250 hours of native-level audio lessons.
Everything is aligned with the exam format, so you don’t waste time on irrelevant content. Listening practice is built into your routine to quickly improve comprehension.
We Adapt to Each Learner’s Pace
We offer extra TEF-focused doubt-clearing sessions, simpler practice tasks, and one-on-one revision support at no extra cost for students who need more time to reach CLB 7.
For fast learners, we provide advanced TEF practice on higher-level question types, additional reading and listening resources, optional speaking and writing drills, and opportunities to simulate real exam conditions with new learners.

Common Questions about the TEF Canada Course
1. What are TEF Canada and TCF Canada?
TEF/TCF Canada are the two official French-language tests. Both are standardized French exams that check your writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) accepts TEF/TCF scores for Express Entry, citizenship, and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). For the province of Québec, you can also select TEF Québec (TEFAQ) or TCF Québec (TCFQ).
2. Which is easier to pass, TEF Canada or TCF Canada?
Neither test is “easier,” as they both follow the CEFR standards. But they differ in their exam formats and scoring systems. Check the differences between TEF Canada and TCF Canada.
Some candidates choose TEF because they find the reading and listening parts easier. Others prefer TCF more because they find the writing and speaking sections simpler. Overall, it’s pretty subjective.
We cover both exams in depth. Our French trainers guide students in deciding the right exam based on their profile, goals, and preparation.
3. Do we offer offline TEF Canada classes in Noida?
Yes! Our French learning center has been conducting TEF Canada in Noida and nearby cities for over a decade.
4. Do we offer online coaching for TEF Canada?
Yes, we offer online French classes for the TEF/TCF Canada exam. Our virtual classrooms are as effective as our offline classes. You can study from anywhere in India, Canada, or abroad through live online sessions.
We also offer a hybrid option that combines offline and online formats for those with changing schedules.
5. Is the online TEF Canada course as effective as the Noida classroom?
Yes. Both modes use the same trainer, materials, mocks, and SWIRL rotation. Online classes are live (not pre-recorded), with the same speaking-pair drills and examiner feedback.
6. How long does it take to prepare for TEF Canada?
The preparation time depends on your current level, dedication, and the speed of the course you enrolled in. Each class lasts 2 hours and is held 2-5 times a week, depending on the pace.
We offer both regular and fast-track batches for the TEF Canada course in Noida. It takes 12-16 months at a normal pace and 8-9 months at an intensive pace to reach CLB 7 (Canadian Language Benchmark).
If you already have some knowledge of French, you can take a lateral entry. It can help you bridge the gap more quickly. You need to take a placement or orientation test for that.
7. What levels and modules does LanguageNext offer?
We have 7 levels. Beginner (A1), Intermediate 1 & 2 (A2), Intermediate 3 & Advanced 1 (B1), and Advanced 2 & 3 (B2). Every level aims to improve your French skills and follows the TEF syllabus and structure. Once you cover all 7 levels, you can appear for either of them to get CLB7 on CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System).
Our TEF Canada course covers all four modules.
Listening (Compréhension orale)
Reading (Compréhension écrite)
Writing (Expression écrite)
Speaking (Expression orale)
Our focus is on exam strategies, time management, vocabulary building, and structured practice. We also take many practice sets and mock tests to help you prepare.

Their expertise makes explanations clearer and logical. You will receive many interactive activities, test-based tasks, and practical training in communication skills.
9. What are the fees for French courses at LanguageNext?

We have installment options available. Level-wise fee is INR 16,000. But since we have a limited discount of INR 2,000. Hence, you can pay INR 14,000 per level for offline, online, or hybrid. Contact us for more details.
