The duration and levels of TCF and TEF courses
Our French courses comprise 7 levels and cover the advanced part of DELF B2. We base the levels on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). These are:
- Level 1: Beginner (A1)
- Level 2: Intermediate 1 (A2).
- Level 3: Intermediate 2 (B1.1).
- Level 4: Intermediate 3 (B1.2).
- Level 5: Advanced 1 (B2.1).
- Level 6: Advanced 2 (B2.2).
- Level 7: Advanced 3 (B2.3).
You also need to complete the same 7 levels for TEF and TCF preparation, i.e., advanced B2 and an initial level of C1. Two types of courses cover all these levels.
Intensive French courses help you learn French quickly. There are 4-5 weekly classes, and you can complete the entire program in 8–12 months.
The extensive TEF and TCF courses run at a normal pace. There are 2 or 3 weekly classes; one can complete the whole syllabus in 12 to 18 months.
Each session lasts 2 hours in offline mode. Online sessions usually last 60 to 120 minutes, but this can change depending on the number of participants and other factors.
