Total Batches for DELF test

If you’ve already cleared A2 and you’re thinking about the B1 syllabus, you may wonder how you’ll study for the DELF B1 test issued by France Éducation Internationale. The jump from A2 to B1 is the biggest one most French learners feel in the whole CEFR ladder, and a generic French class won’t get you across it. You need classes built around the exam, taught by someone who has walked thousands of students through it.
That’s what we do at LanguageNext. Our DELF B1 preparation course is aligned with the CEFR and covers every level from A1 to B2. It provides a clear, focused, practical learning path, guided by people who understand both the language and the test.
LanguageNext, founded by Mr. Vikash Gupta, has been offering French lessons for almost fifteen years. We have developed a practical and engaging curriculum that has successfully trained over 2,400 candidates. We cover all levels, from beginners to advanced, covering DELF A1-B2 and TEF/TCF Canada.
DELF B1 Exam Overview
The DELF B1 exam is for learners who can already communicate in French and want to reach an independent level. It is often chosen by students, professionals, and people planning to study or work in a French-speaking environment.
What the B1 test covers:
- Listening: Longer radio extracts, interviews, and conversations (around 25 minutes)
- Reading: Articles, letters, and opinion pieces on familiar topics (around 35 minutes)
- Writing: An essay or personal account of 160–180 words on a given theme (around 45 minutes)
- Speaking: A structured monologue followed by a conversation with the examiner (around 15 minutes)
Exam format at a glance
- Total score: 100 points, with 25 points per skill
- Passing score: 50 out of 100, with at least 5 out of 25 on each skill
- Total written time: about 1 hour 45 minutes
- Certificate validity: lifetime, with no renewal required
Our DELF B1 classes are designed for this exact exam format, with mock tests and focused feedback at every stage.
Why choose us to prepare for DELF B1?
LanguageNext is a Noida-based language institute offering specialized French courses for over 15 years, in both classroom and online modes.
We follow a different approach. We are not a regular language school that offers DELF as a side offering. We are a dedicated DELF-based center focused on DELF B1 coaching for those aiming to improve their skills and pass the test. It’s one of the courses we teach most often, every single month.
Here’s what you actually get when you join:
- A respected and reliable name in French language training
- A course designed around the actual DELF A2 syllabus and exam requirements
- Our level 4 (French Intermediate 3) & level 5 (French Advanced 1) cover the full DELF A2 level
- Simple, clear, and beginner-friendly French learning
- Complete preparation for all four parts of the exam
- Practical exam-style training through DELF B1 mock tests
- Easy-to-follow study material created to help students prepare and succeed in DELF B1
- Regular guidance and feedback from experienced teachers
- A strong foundation for moving to higher levels, such as B2 and C1
From day-to-day intermediate speaking practice to detailed grammar support, we help students learn with confidence and prepare effectively for the exam. What sets us apart is how we build and deliver our courses. Key benefits include:
Our Expertise Is DELF Preparation
We focus specifically on DELF preparation. Our B1 course is built around the actual DELF B1 exam, not a general beginner French course that only briefly mentions the test. Our trainers understand how to guide French learners with patience, support, and a clear method.
Small Batches & Personal Attention
Each batch has only 4 to 6 students. This allows the trainer to understand your weak areas and give you individual attention. You get more time to speak, ask questions, and practice the full DELF B1 syllabus. In larger classes with 15 or more students, this level of support is difficult to provide.
15+ Years of DELF Teaching Experience
Our lead French trainer has over 15 years of experience teaching DELF students and has trained more than 1,000 learners across different levels. Strong teaching experience makes a real difference, especially when preparing for an exam like DELF B1.
Flexible Learning Modes & Options
You can choose the format that best suits you. We offer classroom-based DELF B1 classes in Noida, live online classes across India and abroad, and hybrid learning that combines both. You can also choose weekday, weekend, intensive, or regular batches. You do not have to compromise between convenience and quality.
A Clear French Learning Path
After completing DELF B1, you already know what comes next. You can continue smoothly from A2 to B1, and then finally to preparation for the French DELF B2 exam, without changing your institute, teacher, study materials, approach, course style, or learning process.
Complete Study Material Included
Every DELF B1 student receives all the study material as part of the course. This includes notes, grammar sheets, vocabulary lists, practice exercises, and assignments. You also get audio lessons for listening and speaking practice. We make sure you have everything you need to prepare well and succeed.
Who Can Join DELF B1 French Course?
LanguageNext’s DELF B1 course is perfect for learners who want to go beyond the basics learned at A1. The course provides a clear plan, regular practice, and expert guidance to help you improve your French and prepare confidently for the DELF B1 exam.
- Children, adults, homemakers, working professionals, students planning to study abroad, and anyone with basic French knowledge
- Learners who have completed A1 and want to prepare for the DELF B1 certificate, which remains valid for life

- Anyone who wants a structured course with a clear goal, instead of learning through random videos or self-study

How do we prepare you for all four DELF B1 skills?
At LanguageNext, we prepare you for every part of the B1 DELF French exam. From the beginning of the course, you learn the vocabulary, grammar, speaking practice, listening exercises, and exam-style activities needed for success. We use question formats similar to the actual DELF exam, so you build both your French skills and your exam confidence from day one. Here is how we help you improve in all four areas:
Listening (compréhension de l’oral)
The listening part of DELF B1 tests your ability to understand talks, role-plays, announcements, interviews, and spoken French in everyday situations. Many students find this difficult because the audio is longer and spoken at a natural speed.
We use audio lessons, listening drills, and exam-style practice from the start. We teach you how to catch important words, understand the context, and answer quickly. With regular practice, listening becomes easier and less stressful.
Reading (compréhension des écrits)
The DELF B1 reading section tests your French language ability to understand articles, comprehension questions, emails, notices, and short texts. You need to identify the main idea, important details, and the writer’s purpose.
We train you with real DELF-style reading passages and timed practice. You learn how to read faster, find key information, write correct answers, and avoid common mistakes. Regular exercises, tasks, and mock examinations help you improve your score with confidence.
Writing (production écrite)
The DELF B1 writing section asks you to write clear and organized answers, such as emails, letters, short essays, or opinion-based texts. You express your ideas correctly and use proper sentence form. We train you to help you write and respond correctly.
We show you how to plan your answer, write in the correct format, and use useful expressions. The trainer checks every writing task, and you receive detailed feedback. This helps you improve your grammar, vocabulary, and overall writing quality.
Speaking (production orale)
The DELF B1 speaking section tests your ability to speak clearly, express opinions, and take part in a conversation. You may need to introduce yourself, discuss a topic, or respond to questions. We run individual speaking drills every week, recorded, with line-by-line feedback.
We conduct role plays, interviews, oral discussions, and mock speaking tests to build your confidence. Our trainers correct your pronunciation, fluency, and sentence structure so that you feel fully prepared on exam day.
What results can students expect after the DELF B1 course?
After finishing the DELF B1 course, students can understand, read, write, and speak in French. They improve their listening skills on different topics. You will feel ready to take the official test.
By the end of the B1 course, students will have these skills:
- Daily-use over 500 French vocabulary
- Over 16 grammar topics, including various types of verbs, tenses (subjunctives, past and future perfect), adverbs, connectors, active-passive, direct- indirect speech, pronominal, relative, demonstrative, possessive, and more.
- Write emails, letters, and opinion-based answers in correct French
- You can understand spoken French better through listening practice
- More fluency and confidence during oral speaking tests
- Familiarity with the real DELF B1 exam pattern and question types
- Time management through regular mock tests and practice sessions
- Fewer mistakes in the exam because of regular teacher feedback and correction
- A clear pathway to move confidently to DELF B2 or other advanced French courses
- Better preparation for study abroad, jobs, immigration, and future French-language opportunities
- Hold a lifelong DELF B1 diploma issued by the French Ministry of Education
The B1 diploma at LanguageNext is the third step before the DELF B2. With this, you can explore career options, study abroad, and many more opportunities.

The regular B1 course, divided into 2 sublevels, lasts 16 to 18 weeks and includes 80 hours of live teaching, 60 hours of audio lessons, and self-study materials. The intensive batch, with 5 classes per week, completes the full syllabus in 8 to 10 weeks.
Yes. The course includes the full B1 syllabus and full mock tests under actual test conditions.
Yes. Both offline and online are live, taught by the same teachers, with the same batch size, study materials, and mock tests. It only differs in terms of travel comfort, not in training quality.
You need at least 50 out of 100 overall to pass. You also require a minimum of 5 out of 25 in each of the four papers (listening, reading, writing, speaking). That’s why we drill all four skills equally.
No. We’re a DELF preparation institute, not an exam center. Alliance Française and other authorized centres conduct the official DELF exam. Our team will guide you with the registration process when you’re ready.
You can, because each DELF level is independent. But we don’t recommend it unless you’ve genuinely studied French for 200+ hours and your speaking is solid. We can do a quick level check and tell you what level suits you best and whether to start at A2 or jump straight to B1.
Yes. Speaking and listening are a vital part. You can take part in various activities and conversations to enhance your verbal communication skills.
B1 can help you to get an entry-level job, study overseas, and boost your CV. You can pursue the B2 course. Studying at the same institute helps you improve your French with the same teaching methods and teachers.
This course is perfect for learners who are preparing for exams. It is also helpful to take a proper Intermediate French course and earn a recognized certification.
You can reach us by email, phone, or WhatsApp. You can also visit our center in Sector 18, Noida. We can help you with class timings, batches, formats, fees, and the admission process.
