COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a continuation of Spanish for Beginners (Level 1). For those with prior experience in the language and looking to review it, our Spanish Intermediate 1 course syllabus is the optimal choice. Students expand their skills by continuing to listen, speak, read, and write on a range of topics, from time concepts to leisure activities and Hispanic cultural aspects in Spain, Central America, and South America.
Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond to spoken and written Spanish with increasing proficiency and demonstrate a range of Spanish language skills. This course offers the grammar elements students need to discuss using more extended structures.
At the end of this course, the student can perform oral and written exercises, apply their cognitive abilities to analyze and understand additional grammar rules, and narrate using both the Present and Past tenses. This Spanish Intermediate 1 (Level 2) course is aligned with DELE A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The Spanish Intermediate 1 (Level 2) program concludes with a 3-hour assessment of listening, writing, reading, and speaking, and it entitles students to a Certificate of Completion.
