French Intermediate 1 is a second-level French course for those who have completed French for beginners (Level 1) or with prior knowledge of French. Students will develop an ability to communicate in real-life situations by acquiring reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
For learners who have completed French for Beginners or for those who have had previous experience with the language and want to review it, our French Intermediate 1 course syllabus is the optimal choice. Students will develop an ability to communicate in real-life situations by acquiring reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
This course introduces students to French by intensively studying important aspects of pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence formation through practice sets and audio lessons.
At the same time, it introduces the workings and sounds of the language and provides the necessary tools to enable students to make sentences from scratch.
This French Intermediate 1 (Level 2) course is based on level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

CERTIFICATION
The French Intermediate 1 (Level 2) program ends with a 2-hour test to assess the student’s listening, writing, reading, and speaking ability and entitles them to a Certificate of completion.
